Haro pioneered the freestyle movement in the early 80s and has since grown into a global company with its roots firmly anchored in the DNA of cycling. Our bikes are designed by riders for riders who seek a challenge, appreciate the progressive and always want to go one step further.

Today we are opening a new chapter by focusing on technical developments and innovative design.

OUR BEGINNINGS

HARO Bikes was founded in 1978 by BMX pioneer Bob Haro in San Diego. Just as the Bicycle Moto Cross boom was exploding around the world. Bob Haro wanted to develop the best bikes for the BMX sport in order to further advance its development.

Driven by Bob Haro's ideas, HARO Bikes quickly became the market and technology leader for BMX performance bikes. In the mid-80s, a new era began in California. The mountain bike began its triumphal march and Haro was one of the pioneers.
