They start with a 36-hole, 45mm wide premium Varanyak rim designed specifically for brakeless riding, mated to our Planetary Freecoaster hub. The Planetary hub combines the light weight, pedal feel and noise of a cassette hub with the backwards rolling ability of a freecoaster hub - a magical combination. The wide rim width and shape makes for a stable wheel that offers less tire bead at low tire pressures, better tire bulge reduction and an optimal tire contact patch. Drive and non-drive side hub protectors are included.
