Applies to bicycles and EPACs used on paved roads where the tires maintain constant contact with the ground, even at average speeds. It is not designed for off-road use or jumps.

CATEGORY 2 *
Bicycles and EPACs that meet the requirements of Category 1 and are additionally designed for use on unpaved paths, moderately demanding gravel tracks, and light terrain. This may involve uneven surfaces and brief periods of the tires leaving the ground. Drops or ledges must not exceed a height of 15 cm.
